Play fair, be kind

  • Respect everyone — whatever their religion, background, gender, age or ability.
  • No harassment, threats, bullying, hate or sexual messages. No spam or selling in chats.
  • Only share photos and content you have the right to share. Never share someone's private details.
  • Turn up for games you join. If you can't, tell the host as early as you can.
  • Enter true results in challenges. Don't use a second account to win, rate or refer.
  • Write honest reviews about your own visit. Venues: reply politely, and never offer rewards for reviews.
  • Adults: don't message teen players (13–17) you don't know — Scoreline won't let a message through unless they follow you.
02

Your tools

  • Unsend a message within 15 minutes; delete any message for yourself any time.
  • Block someone — they can't message you or see you in search.
  • Report a person (from their profile or a chat) or a message (press and hold it). Venues can report a review from their Reviews page. Reports are private.
  • A problem with a booking or a venue? Tell us through Help.
  • A challenge result that's wrong? Tap Not right on it and enter your version.
  • Make your profile private, or take a break from Scoreline.

What we do

A real person on our team reviews every report. Depending on what happened we may:

  • send a formal warning (to your inbox and by email) — 3 warnings in 90 days and we look at closing the account;
  • remove a message — everyone in the chat sees "Removed by Scoreline" and the sender is told why;
  • hide a review that breaks these rules — it stops counting in the venue's rating (it's never deleted, and the reviewer is told);
  • pause Play (following, chats, games and challenges), or stop you joining open games for a while;
  • suspend or close the account. A closed (banned) account's upcoming paid bookings are cancelled with no refund.

3 "didn't come" marks from 3 different hosts in 60 days stop you joining open games for 14 days.

Serious threats are passed to the police.

Appeals

If your account was banned, use the appeal link in the email we sent you — it works even though you can't sign in. For anything else (a warning, a removed message, a no-show block), contact Support through Help or at support@scorelineofficial.com. Your appeal is looked at again — by a different person once our team has one.
